How to Use This Book
Work in sequence
Terminology note: The public model uses “expert-led services.” The tracker preserves its original “consulting” terminology so task IDs and source wording remain stable.
Do not scale the next channel before the prior motion is repeatable. The sequence is designed to expose missing evidence before a larger investment amplifies the wrong thing.
Use evidence rather than opinion
Readiness should be supported by customer behaviour, conversion, delivery performance, economics, product usage, retention, ownership, and operating cadence. Enthusiasm is useful, but it is not a gate result.
Measure different motions separately
Services, standalone products, and recurring subscription revenue have different operating and economic characteristics. Separate them before deciding what is working.
Treat channels as experiments
A channel remains an experiment until it has a defined customer and offer, conversion evidence, acceptable economics, clear ownership, implementation capability, support boundaries, attribution, and operating cadence.
Use the gates to decide
The final task in each part is an evidence gate. The decision may be to proceed, repeat, narrow, or stop. A gate is useful because it makes the evidence and decision explicit—not because every company should meet one universal threshold.
The order is deliberate, but targets are starting points rather than universal benchmarks. The appropriate threshold depends on market, price, implementation complexity, risk, buying structure, and data quality.
